2. Scope

These Terms apply to: (a) your access to and use of our website, and (b) any sale of goods by us to you. By using the site or placing an order you agree to these Terms. We may update these Terms periodically; the version shown at checkout applies to your order.

3. Orders, contract formation & pricing

• Placing an order. Your order is an offer to buy goods. We accept only when we email an order confirmation or dispatch notice. We may reject or cancel orders (e.g., where a product is unavailable, pricing error, or fraud suspected).
• Product information. Images and descriptions are for guidance. Minor variations may occur. We recommend checking compatibility with your setup before ordering.
• Pricing & taxes. Prices are shown in GBP and include/exclude taxes as indicated at checkout. VAT: N/A. Delivery charges are shown separately.
• Errors. If we discover an error in pricing or description, we will contact you for instructions or cancel and refund.
• Age & legal capacity. You must be 18+ and legally capable of entering contracts.

4. Payments

• We accept the payment methods shown at checkout (e.g., major cards processed by Stripe). Payment is taken when you place the order or upon dispatch depending on method.
• All card payments are subject to authorisation by your card issuer and fraud checks. We may decline or cancel if payment cannot be processed.
• For security we do not store full card details.

5. Delivery, risk & title

• Delivery. Estimated delivery dates are guidance only. We will deliver to the address you provide. You are responsible for providing accurate details and receiving the goods.
• Risk. Risk of loss passes to you when the goods are delivered.
• Title. Ownership passes only when we receive full payment.
• Inspection. Please inspect parcels on arrival and report any damage or discrepancies promptly.

6. Installation, compatibility & usage

• Some products (e.g., CCTV/security systems) may require professional installation. Improper installation may void manufacturer warranties.
• You are responsible for ensuring compatibility with your premises, network, and legal obligations (e.g., CCTV signage, privacy notices, planning or landlord permissions).
• Unless we expressly provide installation services under a separate agreement, we supply goods only.

7. Returns, refunds & warranty

• Change of mind. Consumers buying online have a 14‑day right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, subject to exclusions for sealed software, personalised items, or goods that become non‑returnable once unsealed for hygiene/safety reasons.
• Faulty goods. Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 apply.
• Process. Please see our Refund and Returns Policy for how to start a return, timeframes, and address details.
• Manufacturer warranties. Where provided, additional manufacturer warranties apply per their terms.

8. Liability

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law. Subject to the foregoing:

• We are not liable for: loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill, data, or for any indirect or consequential loss.
• For non‑consumer customers, our total liability for any loss arising from or in connection with a contract shall not exceed the price paid for the relevant goods.
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error‑free website operation.

9. Accounts & website use

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.
• Acceptable use. Do not misuse the site (e.g., introduce malware, attempt unauthorised access, scrape content, or infringe IP rights).
• We may suspend or terminate access where we reasonably believe these Terms have been breached.

10. Intellectual property

All site content (text, graphics, logos, product images) is owned by or licensed to us. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works without permission, except as permitted by law for personal, non‑commercial use.

11. Events outside our control

We are not responsible for failure or delay caused by events outside our reasonable control (including but not limited to strikes, utility failures, transport disruption, pandemics, extreme weather, or supplier issues). We will take reasonable steps to minimise the effect.

14. Governing law & jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you can bring legal proceedings in the courts of England and Wales, or in your local courts if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland. For business customers, the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
